Could jetting make a pitch fibre pipe worse?
It can, which is why we look before we choose the tool. Pressure has to be matched to the pipe: sound clay and plastic take jetting without any trouble, but pitch fibre that has already blistered or gone oval is not a pipe you attack at full pressure. On the estates behind the A6 that is a real consideration rather than a theoretical one — if the camera shows deformed pitch fibre, the job is rerounding and lining, not another jetting visit.
