When it might cost more
Nobody likes a price that moves. Here is every circumstance in which it does, so there are no surprises on the doorstep.
- The blockage is not where it was expected to be
- Occasionally a drain has to be traced from further back, or an access point has to be created. We tell you before we start, not afterwards.
- The drain needs jetting rather than rodding
- Fat build-up and root fibres need water at pressure to clear properly. Rodding through the middle of it would leave you with the same problem in a month.
- There is a defect rather than a blockage
- If the camera shows a broken pipe, clearing it is only a temporary fix. We will price the repair separately so you can decide, and there is no obligation to have us do it.
- Out of hours, weekends and bank holidays
- TODO: state your out-of-hours rate, or confirm that there is no premium.
